Angel

November 19, 2016 by

Angel may have been a stray, but she was also a gift. She was meant to be with us. She loved our household, as you can see from the photo. She was unusually relational for a cat and loved being on someone’s lap. She was beautiful, with startling blue eyes. She was sensitive to people’s moods and often licked and brushed tears away with her paws. She loved to nuzzle my face with her small furry face. It was like a soft tickly feline kiss and it made me giggle. One of the things I will miss most is seeing her little face in the window watching for me to drive into the driveway so she could meet me excitedly at the door. The other is those delicious fall and winter “cat naps” we took together-me on my side with her draped over my right shoulder sharing warmth. I miss her so much.-Marsha

I will miss her sassy attitude. She would stick her paws under our bedroom doors and meow louder and louder in the mornings when she wanted us to be up. She’d walk around like a queen and literally roll her eyes at you if she was upset with you for some reason. She’d also push me off my pillow if I let her sleep with me at night, slowly, until she was taking up the whole pillow. Or she’d try to sleep right on my neck. I wanted a cat for so long as a kid, and she was a great pet that we had and loved for over 16 years.-Chandra
